Couple of weeks ago my mom and I visited the famous St. Lawrence Market. It's fun to do this when your partner in crime also loves walking around, sampling food, and doesn't get bored with me taking an insane amount of pictures...oh so many pictures!
Here is a little blurb about St. Lawrence that I copied and pasted from the website:
"Since 1803, St. Lawrence Market has been the community's beating heart and culinary focal point of the city of Toronto. It's the living symbol and anchor of the neighbourhood and for the families who live here. It's a place to connect, to share stories and of course, to taste and to discover great food".
And I agree with everything aboveππ
Before we visited, I did some research about St. Lawrence Market (I like googling everything and I thoroughly enjoyed staring at drool worthy food pictures online ^.^). There were websites/blogs that talked about the must try vendors at the market, which turned out extremely helpful to plan the visit. With that being said, I think I had the stomach to try each and every food item my eyes noticed. "When there is a will, there is a way" people.π

And that was it...Our tummies were full and our hearts were happy! We didn't get to try some of the vendors because we got there early morning and left the market before noon. I believe some of the shops open when it's closer to lunch time. That's a legitimate excuse to come back again and try more.ππ
Here is the website:
Comment below if you have visited this market, what are some of the other vendors that I could try next time, or what are some of the other markets that you suggest?
Dreaming about Pasteis De Nata,
